Because Faith is best taught and lived out in the family, the Church calls parents to be the primary educators of their children.
Parish Community Support
Families attend one monthly meeting (first Sunday of each month following the 9:30 a.m. Mass) in our parish school building, beginning with community time.
Children will receive a monthly lesson from parish catechists in their own age groups while parents gather as a separate group to receive catechesis and support to teach the month’s remaining lessons to their children at home.
Building the Domestic Church
The weekly home lessons take approximately one hour per week and are enriched with games, activities, stories, memory verses and quizzes (sent home each month).
In this method, our families nourish the roots of a living faith and trust in Our Lord Jesus and the real experience of living as the body of Christ throughout the seasons and celebrations of the liturgical year.
